Dubai-based EMAAR Properties, the emirate's leading master developer, has announced a significant initiative to repair homes damaged by the recent heavy rainfall, at no charge to the residents. This initiative underscores EMAAR's commitment to supporting its community members during adverse weather conditions.
On Friday, Mohamed Alabbar, chairman of EMAAR Properties, declared that the company would cover all repair costs for properties within its communities that have been affected by this week’s severe weather. This decision comes as a response to the unprecedented rainfall that has impacted Dubai, aiming to alleviate the hardships faced by thousands of residents in EMAAR’s communities.
EMAAR, known for its portfolio including Downtown Dubai, Dubai Marina, and the iconic Burj Khalifa, has always prioritized community support in times of need. From the onset of the rains earlier this week, EMAAR's facility and community management teams have been diligently working on-site, addressing water-clogging issues and other challenges caused by the storm.
This repair program is part of EMAAR's broader efforts to ensure that residents can swiftly resume their daily routines without the burden of additional costs.
The initiative is an extension of the developer’s ongoing commitment to its customers and community welfare. EMAAR Properties manages a diverse portfolio across Dubai, including popular locales like Dubai Hills Estate, Dubai Creek Harbour, and Arabian Ranches. Since its establishment in 2002, EMAAR has developed over 108,000 residential units globally and operates 34 hotels and resorts.
Residents of EMAAR properties need not worry about repair costs; eligibility for this service requires simply registering with Emaar’s call center. As long as your property is registered with EMAAR. This policy ensures that all affected homes, regardless of their age, will receive necessary repairs without financial strain on the homeowners.
